Our
Story
Get to Know Us
The company was founded in 1975 by Malcolm Nuttall, who was born and raised in Haslingden. Its first product was the manufacture and sale of market stalls made from 25mm x 25mm thin-walled box sections, cut using a Rapidor power hacksaw. This operation took place in the top half of a small factory he rented in the local town. As the business grew, so did the need for a larger space. Malcolm purchased a factory in Edenfield, a neighboring town to Haslingden, where the business remained for about five years. With continued growth, the company moved to its current location on Carrs Industrial Estate (as shown in the picture).
